About Cuddlebugs
Our History
Cuddlebugs Child Development Center first opened in Warsaw, VA on June 1, 2008. Seeing a need for high quality child care in the Northern Neck of Virginia, owner, Sara Carroll, opened a small center serving infants through preschool. In 2012, Cuddlebugs was growing and looking to add a school age program but did not have enough space. The current location on Hamilton Blvd opened February 2013 serving children through the age of 12. Since 2013, Cuddlebugs has quickly grown and in June 2016 added a second location for our school age program called, "The Spot", in Warsaw. In September 2019, "The Spot" closed and we operate out of our single location on Hamilton Blvd.

Cuddlebugs is currently in the process of adding an addition and renovating our current location. We hope to be done by the end of 2025! We can't wait to be able to continue providing high quality care to the children of the Northern Neck of Virginia.

"I love Cuddlebugs! I have been with Cuddlebugs since they opened in 2008. My son started there when they opened, he was 1yr and continued there until he was 5yrs and began kindergarten. My 8wk old daughter has recently started there. Ms. Sara and her staff have always been respectful, friendly, courteous, and professional to me and my children. They are very easy to talk to and you always feel welcome and comfortable. My son loved it there and often tells me that he misses his teachers. They have lots of educational and fun activities that the kids love (holiday parties, visits from the fire department, police, rescue squad, visitors from the library, water day, etc).
